Things have been really busy lately with my job, the project that I’m managing requires me to travel throughout Australia to roll-out the new program and software that collects “key performance data” (KPI) from each of our organizations 45 health care facilities.  I’ve really been looking forward to getting to see the whole of Australia and I’m getting anxious.  Not only because it will be fun, but because this is a very large project in the scope of the organization and I want to make the best impressions I can.  This new software we’re rolling out has hundreds of users and collects data from thousands of different key areas from the facilities.  I will be connected during my trip which begins August 1 and ends October 12 and I will be blogging weekly from my hotel room with updates and pictures along the way. 

Unfortunately as we are preparing to begin our podcast, it may get pushed back until my travels are over.  Although I will be home most weekends we just may not have enough time to post a podcast weekly as we intended.  We’ll keep you posted on our progress.

Mental Status: Pretty good, spirits are up this week and I’m looking forward to my upcoming business trip and the skills this project will add to my work experience!

Favourite Thing this Week: We’re having our very good friends Norelle, Lawrence and baby Alex for dinner Saturday - it will be so good to catch up.
