Healesville Sanctuary & Wine Tasting

winetasting.jpgI always love to take friends and family to the Healesville Sanctuary when they visit, it’s great because as opposed to the zoo, the sanctuary has indiginous animals to Australia.  Because it was a wet morning we didn’t get to see the Wombat and Tasmanian Devil, but we did get a gander of some wonderful birds, the Kangaroos and Wallabys as well as the Echidnia.  This was Adam’s first time petting a Wallaby and the little guy kinda took to him, following him around and licking his hand. You can see all our pictures from the Sanctuary in the Photo Albums.  After the morning at Healesville I took Mom and Adam out to a couple of my favourite winerys, Coldstream Hills and Chandon.  We even popped over to Kellybrook so I could show my brother where Birdie and I got married.  Adam drove my car from Coldstream to Chandon and he did pretty good for the first time in a right-hand drive car on the left side of the road, but don’t hand out a new licence just yet…

Here’s my favourite from Healesville Sanctuary…
