Last Days in Thailand
Our final days in Phuket were pretty much shopping and relaxing for the most part. I’d say that on day eleven, before our final day in Bangkok, I was pooped! It was good to get back and see the kitties and go to work to see friends. It’s always hard being away from home for long periods of time. Bangkok was a short visit, I had spent several days there before some 6-7 years ago. It’s a crazy and beautiful town and there is so much to see. We were lucky enough to get out and go to the 7-story ‘MBK’ - a very large mall in the Central District of Bangkok. You can get just about anything there - the regular knock-off handbags, shoes and watches, clothes, electronics and just about anything else you can think of. We bought an extra large duffel bag to bring back all the goodies we purchased on our trip. Birdie bought some really nice leather black shoes for work, and I got a fabulous blouse to wear to my highschool reunion. A couple watches for Dad and we each got a new case for our iPhones.
The night in Bangkok was short, I got to take a nice bath in the tub at the hotel and my feet really hurt from the trip to MBK. We had to get up really early to catch our flight out at the Bangkok airport at 6:00a.m. (un-Godly hour). The flight was long but I finally got some sleep!
Well the rest of the pictures are available on the My Photo Albums. Here are my two favorite shots from Thailand to share. Check out the Scuba Diving and Thailand pics from the Photo Albums!

Off to the U.S. of A.
It’s only 2-weeks until we leave for the States, I can’t believe that we only get to be home for two weeks.
We have a hectic trip planned to the U.S., which includes a three day paid mini-vacation in San Francisco, a drive down the coast to Los Angeles, a four-day family camping trip to Yosemite National Park, some time with Mom in Sacramento, my 20-Year High School class Reunion and a 5 day trip to Texas to visit friends in Dallas and attend my other reunion in Houston.
We will be blogging during this trip as well so keep posted and check in periodically with the blog to see what’s going on while we are on our holiday!
