Last night we were invited to our friend Emma’s 30th Birthday Party, a big shindig out in Warrandyte at a retreat bar they rented out.  We arrived a little late and as soon as we got there everyone was rushing inside for a big announcement. 

Shocked, and to our surprise Evie, Emma and Rob’s daughter comes down from the back of the room with Helene. Evie is in a white dress with flowers, and then appears Emma.  People were literally screaming “Oh my Gawd, they’re getting married”.  It has been 10 years and they have been talking about having another bub, so I guess it was time.  Both Rob and Emma were in our wedding party so it was fantastic to see them take this step. It was a great little wedding, with all their closest friends.  We had a great time.

It was even a surprise to both sets of parents, and quite a surprise to all of us, we are happy that Rob has finally made an honest woman of Emma.  It all went off without a hitch!

So from us, we wanted to say “Congratulations to both Rob & Emma, and their daughter Evie on this special and happy occassion.  You both looked so happy and we wish you the very best on your journey. We love you”.

Happy Moment: Being at my first suprise wedding ever.
